This program will begin January 5th and end on February 23rd. The program will be held at Pond Road Middle School at 150 Pond Road, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 in the gymnasium.  There will be three one hour time slots broken down by age. Time slots begin at 4pm. 

Each hour will consist of ball skill work and group play. Space for this program is limited so do not wait until the last minute to register.  When we reach capacity it will be closed and there will be no exceptions.

This is a coed program.

Professional trainers will run these sessions.

We are pleased to be running recreational soccer here in Robbinsville at Community Park in partnership with the department of recreation. This year's program will look a little different than what players have experienced in previous seasons. In partnership with the Philadelphia Union and MLS GO, players will have two training sessions a week: Tuesdays (MLS GO) and Thursdays will be team training run by trainers from the Philadelphia Union.  Saturdays will be run as game days like they have in the previous seasons and broken into age groups and gender.

Our program is designed to maximize players time with the ball. The best learning at a young age comes from supervised play and group drills.

Mercer United FC’s Fall Recreation Program is offered to all players starting at age 4 as of October 1, 2023. Our Fall Program typically begins after Labor Day and extends through mid-November. Final schedules are determined prior to season start. Registration cutoff will be August 16th, 2024.

The following are highlights of what our Recreation Program offers:
 

• MLS GO on Tuesdays (8 weeks). Group Training on Thursdays (8 weeks). Games (8 to 10 weeks) on Saturdays.  Each group is based on gender and age bracket.
• Thursday Trainings will be done in small groups run by trainers from the Philadelphia Union.
• Uniform jersey.

DIVISIONS - Broken out per age brackets and by gender and include:

Pre-K and K Division (Boys and Girls)
All games are played at Robbinsville Community Park.

• All games are on Saturdays.
• Games are generally played from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

1st and 2nd Grade Division (Boys and Girls)

• All games are played at Robbinsville Community Park.
• All games are on Saturdays.
• Games are generally played from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM.

3rd and 4th Grade Division (Boys and Girls)

• This Division plays in cross-town leagues which allows older children to continue playing soccer while competing against neighboring towns.
• Travel is limited to the surrounding communities such as Allentown, East Windsor, West Windsor, Bordentown, etc. 
• Games are typically on Saturdays but may also be on Sundays or weeknights.

5th and 6th Grade Division (Boys and Girls)

• Same comments as the 3rd-4th Grade Division.

7th and 8th Grade Division (Boys and Girls)

• Same comments as the 3rd-4th Grade Division

• MLS GO $150
• Thursdays and Saturdays Add-on an additional $125

The grade is based on the Fall 2024 school year. You cannot register for the Add-on if you have not signed up for MLS GO. We strongly encourage all players to sign up for both. The Add-on will be invoiced directly by Mercer United FC and is done so by completing the registration link on this page. If your child’s age does not align with the grade, please let us know in the online comments and we will move them to the proper division.

MLS GO Fall 2024

The Philadelphia Union are excited to bring the first MLS branded recreational soccer league to Mercer United FC. MLS GO, is a recreational program that provides girls and boys, with a fun, affordable, local neighborhood soccer experience. Over the course of a season, players will feel like a pro as they learn the game, have fun, and have MLS club branded uniforms while playing alongside their friends in the local community. 

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:

• MLS branded recreational league played at your club.
• League is operated by the Philadelphia Union.
• Players wear MLS GO branded uniforms on gameday.
• 8 week program.
• 1 hour long practice/game sessions held on Tuesday evenings.
• Sessions run by Philadelphia Union coaches.
• Open to all skill levels.
• Everyone plays.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

• Opening week - Tuesday September 3rd, 2024.
• Last week - Tuesday October 22nd, 2024.

TIMES:

• Start times may vary depending on the number of registered players. The youngest age groups will be 5-6pm, then 6-7pm, and finally 7-8pm.

• 4-13 boys and girls.
